Can’t take no for an answer?

Glazer makes new Man Utd approach

Can’t this guy take no for answer? This is his third attempt at a takeover! The last two failed because of The Board of Directors and the Supporters Club.

“Will this man not take no for an answer?”
“We have made our feelings about him perfectly clear. We do not want him involved in our club.”
“We do not see any way that his influence can benefit us.”

I think that pretty much sums up how I feel about this takeover bid.

  • Sick of 56K

I’m back on a 56k connection since I cancelled my broadband trial and I’m sick of it already! Not only is it painfully slow but I can only go online after 6pm - otherwise it costs me a fortune!

I could sign back up to my old IOL Anytime account - which means I could go online during the day - but I don’t plan on it. Why? Because even then I’m limited to approx. 6 hours a day and it’ll still be painfully slow.

At the moment I have two phone lines in the house. One for the Internet and the other for normal phone calls. I plan on cancelling one of the lines and getting broadband (dsl) on the other. It should work out cheaper in the end.

So why did I cancel the trial in the first place you ask? Because I had nothing but trouble with the company and the setup of the trial. So I plan on going with a different company the next time.

Another top quality display from the Red Devils. I must admit, I didn’t think Utd could go to Highbury and win. The best I had hoped for was a draw - even though that would have been the best result for Chelsea.

The lads played out of their skin and totally deserved the win. Tonite’s game was the first game in many that really excited me. I was off my seat at least a dozen times during it. It was such a cool feelin’ being so passionate about something.

Let’s hope Blackburn can do us a favour tomorrow night against Chelsea *fingers crossed*.
